Education and children’s welfare has become an advocacy of The Print Town Group of Companies. This is the reason why every year, in cooperation with NPi, the company participates in the Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela Progam. We all believe that any contribution or involvement in this cause leads to the improvement of the well-being of our children and the quality of education they will get.
With this year’s theme, “Pagkakaisa Para sa Handa, Ligtas at Matatag na Paaralan Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan”, members of the community once again worked together to prepare public school facilities for the opening of school year in June. More than just making the exteriors look good, the program would also like to ensure students’ safety while enjoying the school facilities. Aside from the repairs, it is important that the over-all surroundings are clean and maintained to keep our children away from diseases and other illnesses such as Dengue.
As early as January, school coordinators started seeking the help of stakeholders and other private sectors. This year, we had the pleasure of extending our helping hands to Mamplasan National High School, Mamplasan Elementary School, and Biñan Elementary School. Principals, together with the rest of their school administration, welcomed us with open arms as they receive our donations of customized metal trash bins and reams of bond paper. Everyone was pleased since these items are often over looked but are indeed very useful for the school.
Brigada Eskwela 2018 had its kick-off last May 28, 2018 and ended June 2, 2018.
